Gris "La Dryade" Il Était une Forêt - Acoustic bm
I chose to post the band Gris's stellar song "La Dryade" in my blog, because it holds a very special place in my heart. If you are here visiting and love music of all kinds, I hope you take the time to appreciate something of pure and genuine emotion. It moves me to tears every time I hear it, I hope your heart swells too with the powerful musical lift and falls of this masterpiece~

MARTYRDOD - "KOTTBERG"
Longtime underground Swedish crew Martyrdöd help deepen Southern Lord's focus on metal-inflected crust with their first album for the label, Paranoia,
out May 22. The collection was recorded by famed melodic death metal
producer/Dream Evil guitarist Fredrik Nordström, who's worked with At
the Gates, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Opeth, Dimmur Borgir, the Haunted, and
tons of other bands who, in general, don't sound as in-the-gutter
filthy as these guys. The blackened crustcore group, featuring folks
associated with Skitsystem, Agrimonia, and Miasmal, are part of Southern L0rd's summer package tour with Acephalix, Black Breath, and Burning Love. Check out Paranoia's lead track "Köllberg" to get an idea of what they'll be doing out there.

ATMOSPHERE DARK METAL - ORNAMENTS + AGALLOCH + DEAD TO A DYING WORLD
THE BANDS THAT I WANT TO FEATURE IN THIS POST ARE SOME OF THE BEST OF IT'S KIND. WITH BEAUTIFUL MELODIES MIXED WITH A HEAVY DEPTH THESE BANDS GO ONE STEP BEYOND WHAT ELSE YOU MIGHT FIND OUT THERE NOW. SOME HAVE VOCALS MIXED IN, BUT MOST OF THE SONGS ARE STRICTLY INSTRUMENTAL. LISTENING TO THIS MUSIC OPENS THE THIRD EYE TO PLACES LOCKED INSIDE THE WORLD AROUND US, AND TAKES US ON A JOURNEY TO OTHER REALMS. THE MUSIC HAS A DARK VIBE USING DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS SUCH AS VIOLINS TO ADD TO THE ATMOSPHERE. ENJOY!

RADICAL SISTEM
RADIKAL SISTEM is a DIY crust/punk/hard band from Bandung, Indonesia and who formed late 1999. I hear a lot of grindcore in some of their songs as well w/ influences like Disrupt & Nuclear Death Terror. Pretty brutal, so give it a listen turned up loud!!!

WOSES
WOSES is a crust band from Barcelona, Spain, who has been on the scene for about 2 years now. They remind me of a stripped down black metal sound, especially the vocals. Also falls into the same category a bit with Agrimonia, and Fall of Efrafa.
If you're into the Blackened Crust movement, check these guys out!
